Natural gas and coal are getting crushed too. The reasons are varied such as warm winter weather, maxed out stockpiles in Europe, plus a shitty economy. I track coal because I'm in the industry. In the fall/winter of 2007 and on through 2008 you could see the recession building and by 2009 the stockpiles at power plants were at or near their max. Well the stockpiles are maxing out as we speak and to power companies are starting to turn away the coal baring trains and selling them on the spot market. I think this also correlates with the Baltic Dry Index tanking... I guess what I'm saying is watch out below. The only positive to this is that a real recovery requires cheap fuel.
