Israel benefits from fractured relations between Mid-East Muslim countries.

it's been their modus operandi since 1935, when Israel only existed in the form of 4 Jewish terrorist groups (many of whom subsequently received positions in Israel's government).

how does Iran benefit from attacking a SA gov. employee ?
