I emailed CBC after I read this and I told them how upset I would be if the rumour were true and I said if it was true I would be forced to run for parliament in the next election, and I must have really intimidated them with that because I got an incredibly prompt reply from Leslie someone, an assistant something at Audience Relations, who wrote, "At this point in time, we have not been informed of any plan to cancel the program Jazz Beat." And she said she would pass my message on to higher powers.
