One time I watched a rabbit run across my backyard with my two dogs in hot pursuit! Well, it literally knocked over, dead, without either dog getting at it. ( had a heart attack I am sure)

My Australian mix Sheeba "guarded" that rabbits body I tell you! She would not let Diesel come CLOSE to it, and he sure did try!

I was unable to go up and get the carcass. Had to have my husband come and bury it, and the whole time Sheeba kept guard. Strangest thing!
