We stopped by SafeHaven first... they said that after we took the dog to dog control they would get ahold of them and take the dog the next day (which they did). I highly doubt the dog survived, but at least he wasn't put to sleep in a kennel at dog control... he would have died fed and loved by his fosters.
That was the only time we were unable to find a missing/lost dog ad on CL or a number on a tag.
