I also have the Walky Dog. Works great! It's attached to the seat post, so it's REALLY hard for the dog to pull you.
I had Nick out one day, going kinda slow when some dogs come at Nick,and he LUNGED at them. I got a little jerk on the bike, started pedaling faster, Nick had to refocus on moving. Since he had to ignore the other dogs, they left him alone. All was good.
