when I was walking Goren I would walk about 4 or 5 miles every other day up hill (yea both ways half the trip there half the trip back lol) and swim him. I don't know how well just the walking did but I did a combo of swimming 1 day or so a week, flirt pole 2 days a week and the 4 to 5 mile walk every other day in the spring and fall (when I wasn't pregnant) I was not that dedicated to it, it was more to get him worn out than anything but I think the little I did helped a lot. If the land your walking/running is flat I think you would need to go more, at 5 miles Goren would be finding shade to lay in lol. I am hoping this spring after I heal up I can get Goren out and get some muscle tone back on him (yea I think he needs more muscle lol) but all will depend on when I am aloud and if my baby is aloud to be out that young (yea I would do it when its like 70 but still have to ok it)
