Labs are stuuuuuupiddddddd. I know a lady that had her leg broken because her lab ran into her....and then it broke her wrist when it drug her. I used to teach dogs how to swim and labs would jump in the water and try to drown other dogs. Like, wtf is that??
Mastiffs drool too much and are too big.
I love pit bulls.....
I love their short hair - good for the groomin'
I looovveee their thick little bodies - good for the snuggles
I love their energy - good for hikin' and runnin' and swimmin' and everything
I LOVE their intelligence - good for safety and training...makes for a better partner
I love their breeding - good on my wallet in vet bills
I lovvveee that they're toy oriented - good for buying gifts and keeping weight off
I love their love - good dog. Never too much love, never too little, very devoted love.
There's so much more that I freaking LOVE about pits. I'm obsessed with them.

Not to go on and on...
but I love how they're down like charlie brown.
One of many examples- I was at the shelter the other day doin some training with the pits. I always wash my dog when I'm finished with it (I figure it kinda helps them get into a home when they smell fresh and clean and don't have crap stuck to em)
So I took Juliette into the grooming room. At first she was like, "HELL NAW!" with her toes splayed and everything...until she took a sniff around the room. Then she was like "Ok, maybe". Then I lifted her in the tub and started rubbing her down and she was like "Hmm..not bad". By the time we got to the nail trim she was like "Dayum- I feel like a girl again! Thanks!" and she was givin kisses and the whole bit.
When I used to work with other breeds in the shelter, if they weren't totally into a bath in the first place then we'd end the thing with them growling at me...
