My wonderful Pet (deceased) BamBam
Hello and thank you for welcoming me to the chat forum. My name is Rubye and I owed a part pitbull terrier and AmStaf. Very beautiful dog, very trustworthy, good with kids, gentle, kind, and helped me with seizures by licking my face until I came back around. He was my partner, my little brother, all fawn in color, temperament was very good, always there for me. I lost him four years ago from cancer and it has taken this time to write about him. I am in the process of writing a book about our adventures together, through rough times and through some very troubling times. I have a question, how do I classify my dog in this book? The vet told me that what he was and I needed to know another second opinion, therefore, I took him to another vet and this one told me the same thing, but he was more of a "kings" dog than the regular pitbull terrier. He was a taller than the pitbull terrier, had hazel eyes, camera shy, muscular built, very well disciplined, but had a blood line of "redboy jackal." He was a very loving companion, when I fell down the stairs, outside the house, when we were going for a walk and my neighbor told me that he stood over me to protect me from anyone while she retrieved him. She knew her, thank God. But I don't know how to classify my wonderful and precious pet? I have written 40 pages thus far, but I wanted to also ask of you the real owners of these dogs, how do I classify my pet in his story. He was 14 years old when he was put to sleep, something that I will never be a witness to again! Thank you for comment.
