Years ago I lived on a par 3 course. We had outings on every holiday weekend during the summer. We also had club championships running anytime during the summer. During the outing, noone made an ace on #10, so nobody won the car.

Immediately after the outing was over, there was a match being played on the course and we were encouraged to spectate. We all grabbed carts and followed the match. The "young" man, aged 81, aced the 10th hole, (the car was still sitting there). Boy was he bummed....but come to find out after, he had lived there for many years, and that was his 12th ace on the course.
