I vaguely remember an article about this, but can't really nail it down.

yeah, there was one in GD a month or two ago, it's all semantics, it doesn't matter a heckuva lot how far you hit it. Example, I quit hitting driver the past few weeks and have shot my best rounds ever. Now if the flat stick would behave I might have a shot of getting somewhere around 79
