THe reason for me is that the cover feels MUCH harder on the Volviks than the Precepts.

How's the durability on the Precepts? The reason I ask is that I tried the Gamer and though I like the ball, I scuffed it up all to heck in about a round. Or is that just something I need to live with on these softer covers?
