Today I went to Hyundai's Ulsan factory (the biggest car factory in the world) to see the Gensis. We were only granted access this morning so we rushed there and my dad's friend, the head of all 7 engine factories at Ulsan, showed us around the production line and I saw over 100 Genesis BH330s and BH380s ready to deliver and still in production.

After the tour of the production line, we went for a ride along with Hyundai Ulsan's "best engine guys" and inside the Genesis BH330, at high revs, it was quiet inside and the wood (real) which was spread all across the dash was nice. The engine was smooth and when the driver floored the gas, the auto gearbox smoothly shifted down and a massive surge of power was delivered. Back at the garage, when I asked the engine guys about the BK's engine options after spotting a Garrett turbocharger in a parts bin, they replied by telling me about how they were going to fit a Turbo I-4, a 3.8L V6 and a Tau V8!!! I asked them about it again to make sure that I had heard correctly and they assured me that it was going to be put in the BK. They said that if they didn't offer the V8 in the US, it wouldn't be able to compete well or something like that...

After that, they let me take some pics of the Gensis and I went to the Lamda engine factory where they explained every step of the manufacturing process to me.

On the way out of the factory grounds, I spotted a camouflaged i30 wagon/Elantra Touring but my camera wasn't at the ready... When I asked my dad's friend about the VI (Equus/Centennial replacement), they said that it was too early in it's development stages for them to get their hands on one. Also, he said that the BH in fact is a Dynasty successor, not an Equus replacement.
