Woah Mr Rolly eyes! I never said Google was perfect.

Every single root exploit on Android is bad on their part but, I've never seen any publicly released root exploit on Android that involved going to a website and clicking install.

Google's equivalent cockup is the "one click" root exploits that made the Droid Dream trojans possible. (Droid Dream used the same exploits to gain root access as the "one click" methods without the users knowledge to insert its payload onto the affected phone.)
