Though I don't care for Apple products in general. I don't like their mobile products cause I dislike OS and I do not like their laptops/desktops because these are the overpriced PC.

I actually think Apple has the mobile OS down pretty well. On the other hand, I'm not a fan of OSX and would prefer Windows 7 any day, which is nice because like you say, a Dell machine is probably cheaper. But then again, we can start the whole argument that Apple Mac's are aimed at the higher end user etc etc

Anyway iOS is good. It's partly why Apple have taken the phone and tablet market into a new generation quite convincingly, and why everyone else is playing catch up.... still.
