The message that the people they are sending the card to haven't lived here for years.

Hundreds? I don't think so somehow....not unless they are seriously over estimating the amount of friends they've got.

You would have thought after 12 years they would have twigged that they are no longer receiving any communication from the other party. What sort of person sends Xmas cards to someone they never have any contact with for that length of time?
How would they get that message, Bungle?

I know many families including my own that sends out over 100 christams cards every year and there is a long list of addresses to send out. Many families send out Christmas cards to people in which they do not receive one in return. Some people use services that send them out for them, they just give the service the list of addresses and the cards. Absolutely nothing out of the norm.
