Remember that video from the news chopper recently that convinced people a rocket had been launched of the East of of the US?

Well it reminded me of an illusion I saw at the coast in South Australia. I was at Kingston and could see Cape Jaffa around 9 miles away. But it looked like the township was floating in the sky. Here is a zoomed in pic

Did they ever figure out if that was or was not a rocket? As of now I haven't heard any updates. The last of heard of it was below, which doesn't look like an optical illusion.
