I have a neighbour directly next to us and another a few doors down, the moment the slightest amount of sun comes out, so does the BBQ.

I wouldn't normally mind except the neighbour directly next to us has it as close to their back door as possible which means all the smoky stink is goes into windows unless we close them.
And it just so happens the wind direction blows from east to west side ways across gardens which means the BBQ smoke stink from the douche a few doors away gets blown our way.

The cooking is fine, its the charcoal start up is just awful.
again its not that I mind the BBQs, I just don't understand why its whipped out the moment the teeniest tiniest bit of sun comes out.

other than that though, neighbours my area are tame, friendly or keep to themselves.

oh and neighbours cats ruined my dads young plum tree by using it as a scratching pole, but they did catch 3 rats (one was cat sized itself no joke) that kept digging up the compost so meh...

edit - LOL @ pictures, neighbours have that on both sides, not so high and more pointed at the ground, yours reminds me of a prison or something
