Unless they are using Luxeon LED's, the power consumption would be extremely low.

A White Superflux LED can be ~ 3.4v @ 20mA and produce a lot of light w/ wide angle illumination. I made a LED array using these to replace the interior bulbs in my car.

So at 3.4v @ 20mA = 0.068watts

0.068w * 24 = 1.632watts not including power used in the LED driver itself .

I would have to say it probably doesn't use more then 2-3 watts of power. And guessing the illumination would probably be similar to a 40watt bulb equivalent.

I've seen 5watt LED bulbs be equivalent to 75-80watt incandescent bulb in illumination.
