Always glance over the sites policies when you are considering a pre-order or may be considering a return on the item if it isnt something you like.

I found VGC's pre-order policy in under 10 seconds on their site. It's not hidden.

You're still not getting it. Let me break it down.

1. There are a limited number of these control sticks being made, period.

2. VGC stated that I was guaranteed my stick.

3. VGC keeps orders open until Feb. 17, taking pre-orders until the very last minute (when many stores were literally getting one or two, not a thousand).

4. VGC fails to deliver on their promise, says Mad Catz "MAY" make more items, I'm left with no other option but to cancel, thus resulting in %5 fee.

You see, with any other pre-order, the worst thing that happens is that you wait until they receive another shipment. If a product is in limited run, you are fraudulently taking orders for an item that does not exist in the quantity they specified. Therefore, nearly everyone who pre-ordered is forced to cancel, thus resulting in them making money off of a scam. Besides, the "cancel before the order is charged and processed" is complete bullshit, because they AUTOMATICALLY charge you the second you order. That's the equivalent to a store saying they will do a refund as long as you do it before they ring it up at the cash register. This is not a very difficult concept to follow.
