I wonder what that area would be like if the British didn't have a mandate for it back in the 40's.

i did a small project regarding this very topic a few years back and its interesting to hear all sides of the story and how they pretty much haven't changed since then:

The Israelis wanted a home and saw nothing wrong with it, the Arabs are angry at the jews and the British have no comments.
