AFI is another populist ranking that doesn't have much credibility and why would anyone value what the average person on the street thinks?

Having the most votes on imdb isn't a noteworthy distinction, IMO, it just indicates a lot of people have seen the film, which one can already judge from box office sales. The score will drop like that craptastic Indy.
You really think you're that much better than everyone else? That you're that much higher than the average person?

I personally care what the average human being thinks, because it reflects our general population. I care a LOT more about what the average movie-goer thinks then some snotty egocentric critic.

Seriously, isn't that why many of us use these forums? To gather opinions from random normal people about things? jeesh.

I wasn't highlighting just that TDK has a lot of votes(it DOESNT have the most votes, no where near it).

I was just saying, that after 47k votes, NO MOVIE EVER HAS HAD A RATING AS HIGH AS TDK. AFTER THAT NUMBER OF VOTES, NO MOVIE HAS EVER RETAINED A RATING AS HIGH AS TDK HAS.

Meaning, for the amount of votes cast, no movie has ever kept as high of a score as TDK. And at this rate, with this ratio of voting to score placing, when you factor in the number of votes, TDK will remain #1 on imdb(there's a chance we will be surprised, if the number pattern completely and drastically changes it may drop but it will CERTAINLY stay within the top 10).

I just can't think of any other ways to word it anymore.

I just... Seriously, am I making this clear or not, everyone!?!? I feel like no one is comprehending what I'm typing at all!
