@ Snoopy.... hide some cheese or eggs under her bed & wait a couple of weeks... as soon as they start to smell, she'll have no choice but to tidy up in order to find the smell and get rid of it!



TBH though... I used to let my room get in to a state like your daughter... I've since become a lot better... a previous girlfriend almost turned me in to a neat freak! lol! I despise mess/untidyness... and make my room tidy... almost to the point of compulsive... weird how it can change.

The only time I've seen my room anything like that, was actually quite recently during the exam period when i was too tired to tidy up.

As for the kitchen... I always kept that clean... why should my housemates have to put up with my mess?
