This demonstrates why I don't but parts off E-Bay. A guy I work with has brought 2 sticks of memory he thinks are faulty in for testing today. He's contacted the seller regarding them, and his response was, well, odd. Basically my work mate has been having nothing but BSOD's since fitting the memory. If he runs 1 of the 2 sticks it's fine, with the other stick in, on it's own or as a pair it crashes.

When he queried the seller this was the reply:

"I've never heard of memory causing a Blue Screen of Death, it's impossible." Ladies and gentleman, I present possibly the most epic technical statement I've ever heard.
