Does Sydney depends on things like the water table? That can take longer to replenish.
Whats a water table? Sorry for the stupid question, I don't worry about this stuff much cause where I live we have loads of fresh water and we are now sharing a lot of it with the people down in central coast cause the drought started drying up their supply of water.

Sydney's water dam almost completely dried up (was down to like below 20%) which is why they are/where/probably still building the desalination plant as quickly as possible to supply Sydney with fresh water. But ever since the rains and storms have been rolling in the dam is way above 40% last time I heard on the news which was a few weeks ago.

I remember last year they said it would take about a month of non stop heavy rain to fill Sydney's dam up and its now been 2 months lol. Well its not non stop, but very constant.
