the system didn't offer you those seats because you only want 2! it's not rocket science.

say you got two of those seats in the row in front. the next people who order are in a party of 3, but have to now have 2 in the seats you've got, and one of the party in that solitary seat?

and the row in front is what, 3 feet closer? quit whining, just go and enjoy it. sounds like you're determined to ruin the experience for yourself by worrying about stupid details, when you're supposed to have a good time.

any events i go to, you can always tell the people who feel they got a bad deal, and they ruin it for the others.
Honestly, every event I've gone to I've been so super pleased with my seats. They always seem to be great and worth the trouble of driving a distance to buy them or buying them two months in advance or something. But I really don't understand why the online system has to be so hard, they should just show all open seats and then you pick them. I actually also notice when I select two seats again they show me the two seats right next to the ones I have, technically they are two seats closer to the center and thus slightly better, I'm not going to argue over that because it doesn't seem as much of a benefit as being a row closer but I have to wonder why the hell they didn't offer me those seats when I bought mine. I just don't like things being a puzzle.

Don't even get me started with ticketmaster, you can't pick your seats with them, if I book something on their site the best you can do is "Best Available Seats" and the system picks them for you. I've actually had to trick it into getting better seats by opening two or three windows and picking blocks of eight seats to "lock" up for four minutes while I booked my real ones so they would free up the seats a few rows forward or something. Why does it have to be that hard? I can't understand how that sells more tickets. If I couldn't afford to do VIP or something seeing the last row as the only available seats might have made me move on to a different event when there's actually a good chance half the seats in the venue are still empty or something.
