Plasma this and Plasma that, those forums will also tell u that "modern" high spec LCD's will match the blacks output by most Plasma's.

If he has a PS3 and wants 1080p gaming then a 720p Plasma is not gonna suffice.

Theres a few of LCD's on the market that support the 24hz that Blu-Ray movies use. If the TV doesnt support 24hz (and ur player like the PS3 cant force it) then the TV will resort to 60hz (PAL) and 24 doesnt go into 60 so u get a slight judder.
