You were texting as he was talking to you? That little tid bit kind of speaks of your attitude at the time IMO.

I was texting while waiting, and he saw me from his car.

The tail light is a problem, I know... did it require him to drive at 100MPH to catch me though? Since when does a tial light need a back up officer?
