I believe you have until Jan 8 (something close to that), 2008 before you need a passport to Canada. As of now however you need two forms of identification ie(birth certificate and drivers license.) I have a passport now and that makes the border crossing much easier both ways.

Thanks,I think I'm going to go ahead and get one anyway,just to be safe.

So other than that it's pretty easy/hassle free? I geuss I'm just nervous about driving there then getting turned back for some odd reason or other.

I've never been to a different country before.
