There is always adoption. I know at that point it might be very hard for her to let go and she might feel like she’s doing the wrong thing but honestly if you guys don’t think 100% that you’re ready for this (including financially) then it’s far far better for the child if you do go the adoption route. If the kid is going to grow up and have one of you split within the first year or two and then see a number of different partners come and go or if he’s going to have to be shuffled off to friends or relatives while both of you guys work and ends up moving around every few months because you can’t afford rent or something then please please please give it to a family that is working their ass off to be granted a child through adoption. A family that (while not always) is probably financially ready to provide everything for a child and is a solid family unit ready to stay one for the next 18 years to provide a strong foundation for a child. Although, if you guys were thinking about getting married anyway (or at least now plan to) and think you can handle this, congrats on the kid! Hope everything goes well!
