This is what I was thinking also but I dont know a whole lot about jeep. If its not throwing a service light then it probably isnt throwing any codes but it may be worth it to have that checked. EDIT: This is what my jeep mechainc friend just said "a valvebody alone is going to be over a thousand installed, i know they are like 900 at my cost, i just priced one for one of my sidejobs. it could be a governor pressure sensor and solenoid problem, alot of them have that...but in jeeps that old i don't know. any idea what trans is in it? its chrysler either way, but theres a few trans' options. all jeep trans are junk as **** cept in xj's."
