Salaam All,

Sorry to revive an ancient thread. I am very very Deobandi-friendly but I am struggling to understand why this isn't classified as bid'ah? True - doing ruqyah using blowing is permissible in general but to do so after every fard salah??? I see Deobandi/Tablighi brothers do this all the time.

Why would this be not classified as bid'ah but congregational dua is? One can say that group dua in general is permissible but to do so after every fard salah is bid'ah. (NB: I myself think that group dua after salah is bid'ah - I am just playing devil's advocate for once)

NB: Not my intention to cause fitnah but just trying to understand from a usooli perspective.
