Salam,
well I dont have enough education in history but i learned that islam is not compatible in its basis with western thinking - even on surface we find many common values. Why I write it is - that they will never understand us - I mean in deepest basis therefore here will always be problems in mutual understanding, suspition or dissapointment. They try to defeat - by the main tools = devide and conquer/globalisation/limited sources..... As they think that muslim will oppress them if they dominate - they try to dominate first. I think it is not possible for manking to ovecome the ignorance completely, only allah can do it, he promissed it will happen in end of times. Till then we will only try and fight to be close to sharia as much as possible. Allah please help us in this endeavour, because that is the best for everyone.
