the media is trying as hard as they can to control the minds of the sheeple, they must disarm us before they can fully take over! its starts with restrictions then they ban a type of gun then another one and another soon why do we need guns at all lets just BAN all guns! yet the gangs and criminals will always have there shipment of firearms what a joke how people are so silly

There are a few extremists out there who say "BAN EM!" But if you follow this topic at all you will realize that is not the objective at all. They want to make stricter guidelines, like pistols. In my state, you do not have to have a permit to own an assault rifle. You do for pistols (Which BTW are responsible for many more deaths than assault rifles) I think the outcome will be that you must first obtain a permit before you can buy an assault rifle, which is understandable. You will have to get consent from your county of residence, then you will be able to purchase an assault rifle. Right now you can just walk in any pawn shop and purchase one as long as you dont have a felony.

Don't think for a second that the NRA isn't trying to use this whole mess to make $ either! I really do think people are blowing this whole thing out of proportion. At any rate, we have much more serious problems to deal with, and this discussion should not even be on the political agenda!
