Typically they will have names and prayers from family members and people from their home town. I know a couple of people who have found flags with similar writings in their grandfathers possesions and tracked down the family in Japan.

this is what my mom told me when she gave it to me. Hopefully I can track down the family of the owner. Maybe they will let me give it to them in person... IN JAPAN!!!
