It kinda gets to me when the "hero" of a fillum takes a few rounds, hits the deck, does a little self-administered first aid and gets up again with barely a limp or a wince to show for it.

Film-makers take note:

If you get shot in the thigh, you don't limp. You scream as your bone snaps and you fall over.

If you take one in the gut, you don't grunt, wince and carry on fighting. You go down and stay there.
