hehehe...Hookers are the only rugby players allowed to wear football shinguards.

No rugby player in the history of the English game would ever deign to wear shinpads. They'd be called poofs if they did that! They would rather have rugby posts inserted into the place where the sun don't shine and rusty boot studs ground into their eyeballs - or so I've been told. I never went near those nasty rugby forwards.
