The sooner we get rid of countries and flags and patriotism and religion the better off we will all be.

Alas we are tied to our primate heritage. we like being in gangs, groups, clans etc. has allowed us to survive and prosper this far. I wonder how much longer we will continue?

50,000 years of humanity and still we have these things....probably stuck with them.

Depends on your view of the word "humanity". Could be anywhere from 1 million years of humanity - homo erectus and his ilk - to....well...... never.

i highly doubt my backyard would be their first priority, and yes God isn't exclusively Christian, but come on, every single President has been a Christian, do u actually believe they're referring to Islam or something? I dont think so

No, god is not "exclusively Christian" but this phrase denotes the idea of God from a christian perspective.
many other perspectives denote God as meaning absolutely everything (including US presidents) - this would imply we are all god/part of god.
