I'd find that blade too light for camping use. I like just a plain strong knife, no gadgets, for most camping work. I used to use a Russell fixed blade, now I've got a Spyderco folder that works fine.
Whenever I'm doing field work, I use a diving knife that has a blunt tip, and has both serrated and normal edge. This way I can chip or pry things without much fear of metal fragments, but still cut easily through rope or fabric and slice fruit.

Edit: Sorry for the double post!
