husband was scuba diving last week in Javea and was stung - has an impressive makings of a scar as it wasn't one of the little stings - it wrapped itself around his wrist... but nothing more serious than a bit of pain.

Saw another one (again, Javea / Denia area) before it saw them... that jellyfish was blasted to the surface by a stream of scuba air - probably popped 'cause it surfaced too quickly - ghostbusters underwater without the slime factor ;-))

Before these reports I'd been reliably informed that the "swarm" had moved away.
