That's a damned shame, but the 'airsoft' side of it wasn't really that relevant, was it? Typical 'sensationalist' reporting!

I really don't get this Police hassle thing - the owners should use them in a responsible manner and the Police should consider them real firearms until it's confirmed they are not.
IIRC, some of this is because some crooks (AKA idiots) used SA 'guns' in bank and other robberies and the public were concerned that the robbers got shot when they weren't 'real'. IMO, shoot them and check later!
