I have built both before.. The painting and detail work is what takes all the time when building them. I prepaint as much as I can before hand and then add the rest once it's all assembled. I also use a decal sealer so that the models can be handled without damage to the decals. If not then they tend to stick to your fingers when touching from the moister in skin. I really like the extremely complicated ones as the detail is so much better with them. The E model I posted is molded in clear and those are the best to work with for detail as you can keep the windows clear as well as add leds to light things up if you want. The few I added that to really came out nice and looked awesome on display. My favorite builds are balsa though I must say. I built quite a few large RC planes and had a blast flying them. Crashing one really sucks though.. I lost a few to that.. All the work and effort building them and it's all gone in an instant. My pops was into it with me when I was young and had built a WWII spitfire and I had built a p51. The first time out with them my dads went up in flames.. He was so pissed off.[cursing] It caught on fire the first time he started the engine for it due to a fuel leak and burned to the ground in about 30 seconds.. Needless to say, he quite the hobby..
