Yep... the plants really help it look less like a pile of rocks. They're doing pretty well considering we planted them in August and it's been 90F+ and dry every day.
I was planning on bringing an old laptop over. It's got a wireless LAN. (So does my desktop, but I think I'll give it to my brother or something.) I do a bit of work online, only takes a couple minutes a day though, and that only from late March till October. The only problem with the laptop is it has a graphics/heat problem and doesn't like to function after about 30 minutes or so. (Which admittedly might be a good thing.) That and it doesn't have firewire, so my mini-DV camera can't transfer to it from tape (but can from SD card).
Was looking for internet service just yesterday. Smart has a prepaid nationwide (Philippines) wireless service, P3800 for the equipment, and P10 per half hour block of used time. Was planning on something like that, though if I can leech off yours that's even better

Keep forgetting to get a 220 to 110 converter. Would just need it to recharge the batteries on my camera and laptop.
