Hmmm...

There was no black woman on offer?
None of them were my type, I don't care about race, I care about personality and thicknes of the booty, stick women just don't get my attention.

Another thing is that the Indian women that in 'my world' are all very highly educated. I am talking about what I see - conservative, yet very well educated.
Another added bonus is that Indian women in general are known for being loyal to their husbands, even though the husband could really suck. (yes i know its a stereotype)

Certainly, I am unable to understand.

If the husband sucks, why do you marry him? Well, sometimes the man behaves correctly before marriage but afterwards changes and becomes an asshole. Well, I can accept this possibility. In this case, you can divorce him and that's all.

In advanced countries, women are free to do whatever we want... And if the husband tries to fuck with you, he will go to jail at once...

I could never have a docile, subservient, submissive woman as my wife, she got to be fresh, sassy and witty.

Of those choices and options listed, #2. That whole Had many relationships before this marriage line of Ms. #1 turned me off ("Loose Lucy"). I'm naturally of a very conservative bent anyways, so Ms. #2 seems more ideal.

Why?

She has been successful with men... What's the problem? Some guys - no, I don't mean you - feel insecurity because they used to compare themselves with the old partners of his girlfriend. It's a matter of self-esteem.

It's highly suggestive to me of promiscuity, which I don't approve of in either gender.

Well done thread.

Yeah this is something I grapple with alot these days and you pretty much hit the nail on the head in terms of how men categorize potential marriage prospects.

Three is w/o doubt my ideal choice. Just prefect though the inclusion of "had prior relationship with black guy" was an interesting thing to throw in but I won't say anymore about that.

One is w/o doubt what I despise the most. I'd never take on a bride like that.

While 4 is flagrantly attractive and, we all like Latina's, I see many potential problems there that are obvious and the song that talks about being happy in regards to making an ugly woman your wife comes to mind.

Two is the best out of principle but in terms of physical type/overall appearance she's hard for me to get into.

I'd have to admit that No.2 is rather unattractive even though in theory she's the best choice. I think that men would always go for the most attractive women regardless of her credentials.

I'd rather go for an above-average looking women who doesn't have much past than a very attractive women who acts like a slut. It's a big turn-off for me.

Well, you men are biologically more close to promiscuity as your task is spreading your DNA. Meanwhile, one woman is supposed to lose her beaty after the third time she gives birth...

Anyway, nowadays sexual acts and giving birth are not the same. Talking straight out, we women and men can fuck whenever we want (or can).

Christianism invented chastity for inheritance issues and the horrible hate towards physical pleasures. But I think we have had such a lot of liberal revolutions to keep these ideas away...

Christianity has nothing to do with chastity, as the Stoics and Cynics before them properly ridiculed promiscuous behavior (as one example, Epictetus makes fun of homosexual men who liked little boys in a pederastic fashion, but he also mentions men who are philanderers in other diatribes). The entire "if it feels good, do it" mentality is a product of the degenerate mentality of the so-called me generation. This mentality can be used to justify all sorts of perceived pleasures, from drug use to God knows what else.

I remember being in the Balkans and talking to this ridiculously made up med-type chic who as soon as she opened her mouth I was immediately turned off.

Her number one aspiration in life was to go to Miami and do whatever (I think it was something shallow like being a model).

Her looks too communicated to potential mates "I'm the shit and you better be super awesome to be w/ me....I don't have to love you or be loyal cause I look like this."

Worst type of chics: those that know they are super hot and act all that.

Similar problems with being overeducated:

"I have my MA, PHd, this and that and am the shit because of...I don't have to do chores or really be into you because of...."

Worst type of women. Completely useless.

So these days because of education and what not, finding someone who is right for you is tough...I like to say that education makes little kings and queens out of people yet these people come out of school really completely useless ot the world.

Likewise if you get to caught up on just the looks thing your asking for trouble. Most guys do have the shallow cave man thing going on an as an instinctive draw to showing an interest in a woman but it can disappear quickly after she opens her mouth. At least for me anyway.

Firstly, you are mentioned stoics... people from 2.000 years ago... with the same ignorance of ancient times: physical pleasures must be despised (related with physical work, from the poor) while mental pleasures must take up our time (related with mental work, from the rich).

But we are living two millenium after!! A lot of things have changed... Really, past was shit... we woman couldn't go anywhere without the permission of our husband (you may have heard about pater familias)... half of the population was slaves and treated like animals... Those time suck...

Secondly, are you comparing drugs with sex?

Sex is like food, like sleeping... a natural pleasure. If it doesn't become an illness (what it is the 99% of cases) there is no problem.

If women who live sexuality without prejudice are sluts according to you, then you are an ASSHOLE.

I voted number four. Sure I would probably prefer a Northern European woman, but in this case I am not an equally skilled person like number one, and a highly educated woman would most likely not want to be with a man who was below her level anyway. I don't fancy feminism either, and I'd prefer more than just ("maybe") one kid.
why not?

It could be two millenia or twenty; the issues they raised as as valid then as now.

The Cynic-Stoics were masters of what today is called the philosophy of psychology, to say nothing of ethics, behaviorism, etc. The human mind hasn't changed overly much and human mental illness, for all of the neatness of our modern age and its associated medical science, has only vastly increased. Now days, a pill is given to simply deal with the symptoms of a particular problem (depression, anxiety, etc.); the philosophers dealt with the root causes of the problem rather than with the symptoms, which is the practice of medical science nowdays:

Patient: I don't feel well.
Doctor: I will give you a pill.

Person: I don't feel well.
Philosopher: Let's examine your thoughts to see why you don't feel well.

Secondly, are you comparing drugs with sex? As a self-indulgent affectation, yes indeed. Hedonistic pleasure-seeking is hedonistic pleasure-seeking and deserves to be made fun of.

Why must the Indian and Latina women be "somewhat educated" but the White and Asian women HIGHLY EDUCATED?

Bullshit!
Just prejudices.

That's fair enough, though I have to admit that i hitched up with my girl only because of how drop dead gorgeous she was. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't.
Believe me from my own experience i think less attractive women are more likely to be rude and unpleasant to be around with.
