Default Sunday Ticket Subscribers
This may not help you this season, but it might next year.

This year, I decided the $240 wasn't available for the ST. So, I called DirecTV before they started me on early bird payments (june or july) and cancelled the subscription. About a week ago, they called me trying to get me to sign up for it again at a reduced rate. The deal was to get the ST plus the Superfan package ($99) all for $180 or so. I think it was four payments of $33, then one final payment of $50 or something like that. So, that would've been about $340 worth of stuff for $180.

Anyway, might be something worth trying. Not sure if they do that with all people that cancel or not, but thought I'd let you assholes know.

I heard a similar story to this. A friend of mine signed up and then later called to say his wife was having a baby and he could no longer afford it. They offered it to him for about $100 off.

They're ripping you off LSU.

Here's what I pay through my satellite provider.

You're in Canada, aren't you?

I'm pretty sure my payments were 5 times of $47 or so.

Yes, but thats what surprised me. I would have guessed it would have been cheaper in the States.

Anyway, I'm glad I came across this thread. I had almost forgot to order ST. I'll have to do that now.
