Default Vilma's remarks on dog fighting
Jets | Vilma weighs in on dog fighting
Thu, 14 Jun 2007 11:47:13 -0700
Rich Cimini, of the New York Daily News, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/27/nfl">New York Jets LB Jonathan Vilma, during a interview with WFAN, said he thinks dog fighting is comparable to horse racing. When asked for his thoughts about dog fighting, Vilma said, "To be honest with you, I never looked at it one way or another. What people do is... of course dog fighting is much more extreme, but you can equate it to horse racing. You have animal activists that (condemn) horse racing. They feel horses are being tested brutally, whatever the situation is. I'm not an animal activist. To each his own."
