what does everyone think about the new hold out news, i cant believe he would be doing this again especially with the news about the house (he was accused of) that was being payed for by someone else, and everything that has happened in N.0. (floods and everything) reggie should just sign he has 5Million in endorsements what is everyones oppinon on reggies hold out?

Agreed. He was not the #1 pick. He should not, therefor be making #1 money. He hasn't proven a thing on this level. He should just sign for his millions and be happy. Don't go on this positive PR campaign and then pull stuff like this.

A rookie hold out really burns my hide in the first place. I can understand if they really are low balling the kid, but come on.

What I don't get is that every media member who's talked to bush talks about how stand up of a guy he is, how well grounded he is and all that stuff. I wonder if an agent got in his head.

I heard it yesterday someone said it best, "a hurricane torn region of the country will not receive a person holding out for 50 million instead of 45 very well".

Negative PR will hurt his endorsements, which will hurt his pocketbook more than not signing like he was a number 1 pick.

i think you're crazy to believe that. I think it is selfish to hold out but what are you going to do every year someone wants to hold out just because they are greedy.

The Saints need to pay him more than Alex Smith got last year because he is worth it. He's already donated money for hurricane relief. Ticket sales are up. He's the biggest draft pick in NO since Archie Manning. Pay the man. Benson is the selfish prick.
