Default Dr. Abdul Kalam
Dr. Abdul Kalam is the blessed son of the Indian soil. Every Indian must feel proud and imbibe certain qualities. He is loved by all and he belongs to human race. He talks less and in practice showed how to achieve goals with set objectives. During the period of his profession scientist, he is known to his different hair style. With achievements he showed himself a great potential man Indians feel proud of. When entrusted with President position, he behaved so simple and accessible. From him there is discrimination between a post man, his gardener, his cook, high profile person. For him all are humans with talents on his own and treated all well, encouraged to perform still better with confidence. It is amazing that the moment his President assignment is over, he vacated his official residence immediately and came back to his teaching profession.

Couple of months back when he was subjected to security check during US trip, other diplomats made an objection, but the way he remarked is we leave the matter as such indicated to me as though he indirectly appreciated the sincerity of the security personnel in USA, 2. The personnel is not expected to recognize him as an ex president and VIP which they are not supposed to know, 3. he himself taken him as one of the visitors and nothing more than an ordinary citizen of a country.

I really admired his very natural way of life. I read somewhere that when he happened to visit Chennai as President, he made it a point to meet a cook who was serving him food when he was in ISRO and preferred to have "RASAM" prepared by him. Is it not a great honor to the cook who was associated with Mr. Kalam just in a very low profile paid servent??

There are many such qualities I admire with Dr. Abdul Kalam. He is a kid when he is with kids and a great person when he is with high profile personalities.
