I actually cant take credit for these, nor did I gather them. But I did felt they would go over well here, I enjoyed them and found them inspiring...
Add to them if you wish! "When I played with Michael Jordan on the Olympic team, there was a huge gap between his ability and the ability of the other great players on that team. But what impressed me was that he was always the first one on the floor and the last one to leave." -- Steve Alford "Before I'd get in the ring, I'd have already won or lost it on the road. The real part is won or lost somewhere far away from witnesses - behind the lines, in the gym and out there on the road, long before I dance under those lights." -- Muhammad Ali "Excellence is not an act, but a habit." – Aristotle "Any fool can criticize, condemn, and complain - and most fools do." -- Dale Carnegie "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." -- Thomas Edison "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." -- Albert Einstein "Failure is the opportunity to begin again, more intelligently."-- Henry Ford "The biggest mistake an athlete can make is to be afraid to make one." -- L. Ron Hubbard "The successful warrior is the average man, with laser-like focus." -- Bruce Lee "Man's finest hour is the moment when he has worked his heart out in good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle - victorious." -- Vince Lombardi "Achievement is largely the product of steadily raising one's levels of aspiration . . and expectation." -- Jack Nicklaus |

I feel sorry for people who don't drink. Cause when they wake up in the morning that's as good as they are going to feel all day. ~ Frank Sinatra
Someone's got to do it. ~Barry Manilow Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former. ~Albert Einstein The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'. ~? |

Deep Thoughts with Jack Handey:
"If I lived back in the wild west days, instead of carrying a six-gun in my holster, I'd carry a soldering iron. That way, if some smart-aleck cowboy said something like "Hey, look. He's carrying a soldering iron!" and started laughing, and everybody else started laughing, I could just say, "That's right, it's a soldering iron. The soldering iron of justice." Then everybody would get real quiet and ashamed, because they had made fun of the soldering iron of justice, and I could probably hit them up for a free drink." "I bet when the neanderthal kids would make a snowman, someone would always end up saying, "Don't forget the thick, heavy brows." Then they would all get embarrassed because they remembered they had the big hunky brows too, and they'd get mad and eat the snowman." "Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind." |
