If you compare the stats, Xbox outshon Ps2 by loads. Live, 4 (read it, 4) controllers, Nvidia chip...
Xbox may be made my Microsoft, but it has kick ass for power!!! Think of Sony Ps2 as a samurai, and think of Xbox as massive super gigawatt gundam model v.1.25.3!!! Ninja Gaiden = Hours of gaming frustration *Stupid giant electric worms! Why won't you die????* |

The Nintendo Revolution, the reason i didn't add it was because nearly every nintendo console goes down in reputation very quickly.
I agree with you the prices of consoles are a crazy amount, but i think i will still get it when it comes out. Halo 3, thats goin to be really good especially with online capabilites. |

This christmas XBOX 360 hits the selves in Decmber, while people who are loyal to Playstation will have to wait a little longer. Have a little look on:
www.gameplay.co.uk www.game.uk.com and in your opinion which console you will be buying. |

I'm not going to lie, the XBox does out power the PS2. However, the power of the PS3 will run circles around the Xbox 360 and Nintendo Revolution combined, just read up on the hardware specs. But in the end it doesn't matter what you have inside the console, it's the games. So my preference is still Playstation, hands down.

the difference between a ps and xbox is xbox is basically a big, clunky overrated (basically) small computer that has virtually no good games for it PS3, there is only one game i like Tekken 5 that really looks good but apart from that nothing really exciting on the PS3. Damian |

Damnit Musashi, you are indeed correct. I hadn't read that announcement when I had last posted. Technically, anything with FF on it is an FF game, but final fantasy elitists are fickle creatures.
On another note, I originaly voted PS3, but after reading about the new Nintendo revolution controllers, I'd like to change my answer to Nintendo. With all the twist, tumble and swinging technology, it opens up an entire new dimension in video gaming,.....and dare I say it, possibly a kendo video game. |

Now I personally been buying and playing PS and PC games mostly. I'm just wondering what's the differences between PS and xbox. Now I never played on a xbox before, that's why I wanna know. I still don't know what it is that made ran so fast when I saw a xbox in the store... maybe it was just another Microcrap product or maybe it's just something the console itself that freaks me out. I dunno... so someone tell me maybe I have a different view on the xbox besides the fact I really want to play Ninja Gaiden (beat all the old ones just like every gamer), still I hestitate to touch one, it's just weird... microsoft has the same mentality as they always have with the xbox. "lets put out a lot of bad games and half hearted attempts at technology because we know that people loyal to microsoft will buy this garbage" alot of the games you can get for xbox you can get for pc or ps anyway. but if you have a hole burning in your pocket and you have to get rid of alot of money. go for it. buy the xbox. but dont think i didnt warn you... im going to wait a long time for the ps3 to go down in price. basically, the ps3 is just a gaming computer. its so advanced, it can read your thoughts and change the game accordingly. but yes, i'm an extremely loyal playstation fan because of sony's quality. |

and to mkae even better they have now added Video Cam to XBOX Live. sorry... but i couldnt resist that. when i got socom two for the ps2, i couldnt tell you how many little kids got thier moms to buy it for them and i couldnt play a decent game without a cuss-fest from a couple of shrill voiced pre-pubecent 12 year olds. i just dont like the online games xbox has to offer. halo is just about it but even then, that would get tiring after a while. ps2 has a ton of online FPS games and alot of the war-based ones are excellent. plus im a die-hard silent hill fan so i could never betray the sony playstation. resident evil doesnt do much for me either. its rediculous that you get very little ammo and the zombies wont even die. and zombies arent that origional anyway.... sooo..... i think this has gone on long enough. to finish it, i will quote a well known character from silent hill 3 "the world is teeming with unnecisary game consoles. only by playing the playstation will you find salvation." ~claudia. ^pretty lame huh? |

PS. Final Fantasy being ported to nextGen systems is only rumour at this point. and FF Fans say that the other FF games which were imported on other systems were not true FF Games, well if the game title adds FF on the front it is a true FF Game no matter what the actual game is like ![]() |
